Less Than Jake - Overrated [Alternative version]
Some of my favourite Less Than Jake songs were released around the time of In With The Out Crowd. I fucking love that album, great lyrics & tight tunes.
Misfits & Malcontents & Only Human were the demos / bsides. I got a copy of Misfits a good while before it came out and I loved it. Shame it only made demo.

I heard both Banner Pilot & Dear Landlord on the Rocket Fuel Podcast a good few months back.
I’ve been listening to Banner Pilot again after finding them on BandCamp recently and then hearing Dear Landlord on the Radio 1 Punk Show with Mike Davies.
Loving them right now so much, totally the style I’d want to play in a band like.

How not to do Election campaigning!
I got this leaflet through the door today (address to me, my brother who I share a flat with didn’t get one).
A few pointers:
Check links. There’s a facebook link there, it says “Facebook.com/JimMcGovern”. If only Jim from Chicago, Illinois had installed Google Adwords…
The bottom says:
“Printed by Montgomery Litho Group, 170 Elliot Street, Glasgow G3 8EX”.
Inside it says “Standing Up For… … We need to invest in local communities and support local traders…” Clearly Mr McGovern’s constituency now extends to Glasgow.
That back shot is headed “I want to hear from you” with tick boxes below - Jim still hasn’t emailed me back since his secretary replied to my email on 7th April about the DE Bill saying “Thank you for your email. I shall pass your message to Mr McGovern who will respond to your enquiry.”
